Things were a bit slower than last week, with 4 melee pwning us on FC, two backbone healers dcing wednesday, and Brontes-the-unenchanted crit by lag spikes in the last five anub attempts. But we stuck with it and got farther than we did last week. A few thoughts and comments:
-- heroic 10s signups are posted. However, we only have two scheduled. If you can get a team together with 10 people who you know can clear it sooner than that, go ahead and do it. Don't miss opportunities.
-- Until lag trouble, I felt like I had the adds solidly under control. They're still hitting me hard due to lack of block value (now that I've reached the block % requirement.) Further gear pieces are needed.
-- Starting immediately I'll start trying to tank three. I will need misdirect and TotT help. I don't have the gear or pickup skillz to tank four yet, but we need to start thinking about it.
-- I'm trying to figure out how to get four in front of me. I think we'd need to tank him in the back of the room. I have a strat change I'd like to propose for discussion.
-- Our first kites were a problem almost every time. People are busy trying to figure out those last adds, positioning is slightly off, and boom, our first ice patch is gone. We need to plan a strategy that makes this less likely.
-- There are a few players who are not putting out heroic-level dps. We can make excuses, like poor gear, suboptimal strategy, UP class, or assignments other than pure dps, but excuses don't make the kill. combatlogs will be running every raid and if you aren't putting out the numbers you'd better come to me about how to fix that before I come to you.
-- We've got to recruit one more deathknight. Ghassan was doing fine but he seems to be having connection problems, and relying on one is a problem.
-- PVF mission. There are slippery eels in the pools outside of Violet Hold. We need two per attempt. I don't think they even need to be cooked.
-- I hate to leave 7 anub attempts on the table. That's practice we worked hard for. Monday night? If we're efficient that's only an hour.
-- Next week we will have a scheduled raid only on Tuesday, due to US Thanksgiving holiday.

Ghastias team will most likely not run -- missing several this week. Regular 10s as always are on your own.

by BrontesGM, 4 days agoAs a guild we're playing at our best level. FC yesterday wasn't smooth, but we learned some things and made the kill we needed. Let's take this continuing level of excitement and strong play and use that to become better raiders. If your gear, interface, or experience in heroics isn't INTENSE, do some thinking and figure out how to get them there. That doesn't mean more play time, just getting organized and showing up for the hard stuff, prepared. /end preach

Coming up
We'll hit 25 heroic tonight. Need you there. If you can be 15-20 minutes early, I'd like to start with Naxxramas spider wing. There are two potential drops, either of which should push me to unhittable, a big help on Anub adds. If we don't have 20ish people we'll just start with the big stuff at the usual time.
Heroic 10s! Let's make the commitment to them this week. Three are scheduled. (I just added Brontes and Ghastias.) Go sign up for one of those two.
